Can I take St Johns wort for depression if I am on HIV meds?

I am taking atazanivir, ritonavir and Kivexa. I had heard some time ago that you can't take the herb St John's wort with antivirals. but I am wondering if that was just with the old fasioned HIV treatments. TY starletatheart . I have just taken two st johns wort but wont take anymore as I don't want to create resistance and have to change drugs. Kivexa is Abacavir and lamivudene in one big orange pill. Air kisses
