Is the medication Naproxen used for pain?

Lately I've been having weird sleeping patterns and I wanted to know if this was common with taking Naproxen. I wasn't prescribed Naproxen but a family member was, so I have been taking it for swelling in my mouth due to dental issues. Ever since I've been taking the medicine I've been having weird sleeping problems. Like I would sleep for 13 or 14 hours at a time and now I can't sleep at all. I've been tired but it's almost 8 in the morning and I still can't sleep and I feel like I'll never be able to sleep. Is this coincidence or is this because of the Naproxen? Not sure if this changes anything, but I guess you're supposed to take 1 pill every 12 hours, but instead I've been missing every other dose, so i've just been taking 1 every 24 hours.

When I had blood work done in November 2008 to check kidney function, the results show my blood potassium level was slightly elevated. Besides the nurse on the phone telling me to cut back on bananas and oranges they didn't tell me much. (I had been drinking alot of Orange/Strawberry/Banana juice which is way high in potassium and eating yogurt, also high in potassium). My actual result was 5.3 MEQ and normal blood potassium levels are 3.0-5.0 MEQ. How do I know when I've had too much potassium when it seems like it is in everything from fruit to potatoes? I am paranoid about keeling over from hyperkalemia. I taken Zestril for my blood pressure and I also take Naproxen, both of which say can cause your body to retain potassium. I know potassium is necessary for muscle and heart function, but is this something I need to really watch?

I am in extreme pain. I apparently, according to my doctor, sprained my neck. Don't ask me how, I don't know, but it causing a LOT of pain in my head, neck, shoulders, nausea and now my lower back hurts like I pulled it, too. So, to day, I took four ibuprofen then, two hours later, (after forgetting due to the pain that I had taken the ibuprofen) took four naproxen sodium. Should I get my stomach pumped? Cause I also have a birth control, muscle relaxant, anti-inflamitory, two headache relief pills, and a Prilosec in my system. I feel fine except for a stomach ache, which I ACTUALLY think is from not eating enough with the Prilosec. So, should I? Cause I'm going to the doctor about the back and neck pain again later today... I only realized I'd taken two four-pill doses of pain reliever about twenty minutes ago.
