why it is beter to consult a lady psychiatrist than male?

I was on 60 milligrams of Paroxetine and I guess I was doing OK. The only thing I hated was that I never wanted sex with my girlfriend. So I told my doctor to give me something else and she prescribed Mirtazapine. It didn't work as well as Paroxetine and I still had sexual side effects. I finally decided to go back to Pax but to only take 20 milligrams. I've noticed that I'm now very depressed and hopeless. I have an appointment with the doctor in a couple of days. Should I tell her to put me back on 60 mgs? I've tried so many anti depressants and it's the one that works the best for me. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm willing to go back to taking 60 mgs even if it means going back to being a 31 year old guy with no sex drive :(

9 Very strong sleeping pills - Mirtazapine. 15mg 28 anti-depressants - Citalopram. 10mg 28 blood pressure tablets (I don't have high blood pressure, there not mine) - Levothyroxine. 25mg 80 prescribed painkillers - Cinnarizine 15mg O by the way i am not suicidal, this isn't for me.

I was initially on Mirtazapine for 8 weeks (30mg), but didn't like the heavy head and the strange out of it feeling, however they did help with the depression, sleep and eating. I thought there was a miracle drug that had no side effects! So I went back to the Doctors.... I tried Citalopram after a weeks break from mirtazapine as the Doctor advised and what an awful reaction !,I had really severe panic attacks within 2 hours of taking them at bedtime, had insomnia for 3 days! The Doctor said that I had a nasty reaction and we agreed that I go back on the Mirtazapine. I have been taking 15mg for 2 weeks and the anxiety and panic has been awful , I never had it on them before! The nurse and pharamacist said to take the higher dose 30mg as prescribed as this was the problem. I just didn't want to and was cutting the tablets in half! Well, I took the higher dose last night , don't really know if I feel better, the heavy head is worse! They said it would take about 3 weeks to work. Anyone else have any experiences? Thanks
