I have fibroids and cant work at all right now, ( I am a bartender, and on my feet all day) this mo my period?

lasted 20 days! all of it was heavy/hemmoraging, the doctor said my tumors were the size of a 6 mo old fetus. What kind of operations,or procedures usually take care of this problem? I am going to county horspitol, and they dont seem to be in a hurry, they put me on medroxyprogesterone, what does this do? HELP please

I was given deviry which contains medroxyprogesterone acetate usp, by my doctor for small foetus which she detected through external examination. I read that deviry is contraindicated in pregnancy and it can cause defects in the foetus. How safe is this tablet for me?

So i am VERY irregular with my periods and I am trying to get pregnant, my dr. prescribed me this medication to start regulating my period.. After i take this hopefully i'll get my period. Does this mean that i can get pregnant after i get my period.. Or how does this work?? Please explain in brief details...... I would really like to know your experiences with this medication.. What were your side effects? Did it start your period? Did you continue getting your period after that first period after your pills were gone or did it just brong back 1 period and go away again? I am taking 10mg TBRR IC Medroxyprogesterone. I took my first pill today. The first day of my last period was January 15th 2009. I am 20 yrs old. I sure hope this brings back my period. I have one child already, a 1 yr old little boy. My DH and I would love to have another baby in a few years. So i would love for my period to get back to normal. Thanks for your answers. No i am not pregnant. They gave me a urine and drew blood and did a pregnancy serum test. all negative!!

Ok, well.. yesterday I went to the clinic telling my doctor that it's already been 5 months since I have not started my period is. She gave me this medicine called Medroxyprogesterone (treat menstrual disorders) which I bought at Walgreens. Well weirdly... I think I may be starting my period because today I got brown stain down there... and it seems it may be a period. So should i still continue taking the medicine if my what-may-seem-to-be my period is my period??
