Can someone please help me, IBS? Coeliac?

I know this is a lengthy question but i am seriously desperate for help right now. I have been ill for one year. My symptoms are: Sometimes sharp stomach pains Very bloated Loss of appetite especially int he morning Go to the toilet more frequently but its not always diarrhea Stomach sometimes feels sore inside Lower down intestinal discomfort My periods are VERY irregular (used to be every four weeks on the dot, but ive only had 3 periods this year). I havent lost weight it goes in the opposite direction-i find it very difficult to lose weight. I have the weird skin problems on my elbows, dry sore patchy and also on my hand a little. I have seen 10 different doctors and this is what they have said: I have IBS-I dont htink so though cos my boyfriend has it and its nothing like what he gets. I have too much stomach acid-they gave me tablets for that and they didnt work(lansoprazole). I was also told I have low iron (though not anemic) and a high thyroid result. After 3 months they finally told me my blood test was positive for coeliac disease ( very high result was what they said). I have had a scan and nothing was found then i was given an appointment for the endoscopy, i went to my appointment after having starved for 24 hours ( i know your only supposed to do 6 but i was so nervous i cudnt eat) only to be told i was only there for a consultation. I showed the letter to the doctor and proved i was meant to be getting the tube and all he said was that i must be confused . I have had it with doctors, they have done nothing for me but fillme with drug after drug! Can someone please help me?! I am not looking for a proffessional diagnosis here but some advice on who i can see other than a doctor or if anyone else has suffered the same symptoms as me and what they have. Im getting pretty desperate here its ruining my life! I have a great diet and i exercise an drink plenty of water. This is NOT the problem! My blood result tested positive for coeliac disease, coeliac disease is an autoimmune disease which stops your body from being able to handle gluten. It makes you bloated also. I have a great diet i dont doubt it, I am not diabetic i have been tested. I am vegetarian also. I am being honest with myself, if it is an allergy or intolerance that does not mean i have a bad diet becuase you can be intolerant to ANYTHING. You cant say someone has a bad diet because they get bloated-do your research! I have spent the last 2 days gluten free hoping for some kind of relief. I will carry this on for a few weeks to see how i feel. I have a keen interest in nutrition so am quite clued up on diet etc. I was just hoping someone could offer some kind of idea as to whether it actually sounds more like coeliac or IBS and also if anyone had any advice on ways i could find out other than from visiting a doctor as i have lost all faith in the NHS.

I'm feeling pretty low at the moment Ive had a stomach ulcer for a few days (diagnosed) but the pain has gone on for 8 days ! The doctor prescribed LANSOPRAZOLE which are not helping she told me they would get rid of the discomfort in 24 hours but I have been taking them for 3 days with no effect. Is there anything else I can possibly do to help the pain is too much and I find as soon as I eat I am immidietly sick....Help !

I have recently been prescribed another course of capsules and reading the pack it said that you can't take indigestion remedies for another 2 hours after using these ones. Are Lansoprazole gastro-resistant capusules (15mg) an indigestion remedy? May be a silly question, but I'm not the brightest and it would be easier for me to take both at the same time. Ok, thanks for your help guys.

I was directed by a doctor to take 30 mg of lansoprazole (Prevacid) daily for 12 weeks. But after 2 weeks I'm switching over to the cheaper priced omeprazole (Prilosec) (20 mg daily). Should I take the Prilosec for the remaining ten weeks that I was supposed to take the Prevacid?

he is 7 months old and he weights 13 lbs he eats but sometimes but it's not enough doctor say he has heart burn and we are giving him lansoprazole it seems like they don't know why he don't eat and gain weight please help me i have been trying eveything I can't see him like this any more so please help me
