Taking ativan everyday for a month?

So i am having trouble falling asleep recently because my exam schedule is approaching and it has been bothering me for 3 weeks now. I tried to avoid sleeping pill in the past 3 weeks and used melatonin, doxepin etc for alternative medicine. But recently, I found those supplements unable to help me sleep anymore so I have to go for Ativan. I've been taking ativan for 3 consecutive days now and it gave me very sound sleep and refereshed feeling the next day which is very desirable for my studying. I have less than a month left till all my exams end, so if i were to take ativan everyday, will resistance develop? Im not too concerned about addiciton because I wont be having a problem going off it after exams are over. Can anyone who took ativan daily for at least a month share the drug efficacy after one month? Any other significant side effects you observe?Any other input is welcomed!thanks!

I have asked my doctor to switch me to adderall or dexedrin or that amino acid one and he said he couldn't and instead i take 60+mg of methylphenidate. It doesn't work very well if at all for me. Just seem to be more awake. Also i asked him to perscribe me sonata for sleep but he instead subscribed me doxepin to get to sleep. Both sonata and the stimulants he said he cannot perscribe me them. Is this simply a matter of medical coverage? I am covered by group health...which is the most common medical coverage in my area. Is it because there is no generic version of these? Any suggestions? Neither of these two drugs he perscribed seem to help whether it's sleep or focus.

I have insomnia...and i have been cycling between doxylamine succinate, zma, melatonin, doxepin(only perscription i could get)...and some other supliments... I really just want to pass out right now..but i cannot....i will be awak til atleast 4am.. I asked my doctor to perscribe sonata as it can possibly be used long term. However he said he can't? But i don't see why... I dont want to try other drugs...as they are bandaid solutions...and lead to more problems in the end. sonata seemed perfect =(.. any other suggestions for sleep med's?

I am already on 150 of Doxepin a day, and was prescribed 50 mg/day Amitriptyline for my muscle pain. They are both tricyclic antidepressants so is it ok to take them together? Also, my pain is pretty severe, so what dosage of Amitriptyline will I likely need for pain? The same doctor prescribed both.

we had a huge argument in class today and someone said 5 prescription sleeping pills can kill you when i said it will only make you dizzy. am i right?
