Help needed with my laptop?

Every time I switch my laptop on lately a message comes up with something like your disk needs checking for consistency, press any button to skip disk checking but it is advised that do not . If I do proceed with the disk checking it can take anywhere between 1 and 4 hours to check the disk and free up space. Why do I keep getting this message, even after I have done the disk checking? The only time I used to get it was if I turned off my laptop incorrectly but lately I have not been turning it incorrectly. P.S. I've run anti-viral software - no threats found. Also this problem seems to have been occurring since my partner installed ITunes on the laptop. In fact during the disk checking some of the songs come up as corrupt. All songs are however uploaded from our CD collection. My partner and I do not download songs. Can someone please advise me why I keep getting this message, and what I can do to stop it and also why it takes so long? It's not as if I have loads of files.

If there is anti bacterial soap, why isn't there Anti viral soap?

With all the colds and flu's wouldn't it make sense?

I have ulcers on my right tonsil !!?

ive had these ulcers on my right tonsil for about 2 weeks now!! ugh they hurt so bad.. i thought they were originally from stress but there is no more stress and i have been taking anti viral medicine and sometimes gargling with salt but they wont go away!!! they hurt any other ideas on what it might be or how to make them go away? nothing else hurts just the tonsil. and no fever or runny nose or sore thoat

Can you fight a doctor's bill?

Two days ago I took my 2.5 year old son to the doctor's office for high fever and flu like symptoms. I have never seen him so miserable and the doctor basically rolled his eyes at me. Believe me, I'm not the sort of person that takes my kids to the doctor's office often. In fact he gave me a pretty hard time about not having brought my son to his routine checkup's since he was 6 months old so I was very stunned by being treated this way. My son's temp was only 99 degrees when he was in the office but he was so delirious he was sprawled out on the floor in the check-up room. Obviously sick. Later that night I had to combat his fever that crept up to 103.5 and wouldn't seem to go down and I was forcing him to drink water and take both Tylenol and ibuprofen. Seriously force feeding his water and locking his jaw shut until he swallowed. It was pretty scary but I eventually got it down. Something that would have been avoidable had he tested my son for a virus and given him some sort of anti-viral. Anyhow, now my whole family is extremely sick and I don't even have health insurance for myself. Now I don't know what I'm dealing with. Is this swine flu? Actually I'm pretty sure it is by how fast everyone else got sick. I'm so angry with this doctor I feel like complaining, and I definitely don't want to pay my co-pay and 20% out of pocket on the waste of time, upsetting visit. I'm so irked! I didn't want to go to the ER, because first off, I've had nothing but HORRIBLE experiences at the ER at night. Second, I think after the bad apathetic feedback last night I've become a little gun shy. Also, I intentionally didn't do vaccines one my second son. (the 2.5 year old) because of the whole autism scare and I wanted to just wait and see how all that panned out first. We had a bit of an autism scare with my fist son, he was speechless until he was about 3 years old. He's right where he needs to be now after having started school, but I just didn't want to make another mistake had vaccines really been the cause of all the autism in the country.

Does Anti bacterial soap do anything against Virus?

I mean it is anti bacterial, not anti viral, does it help at all???
